 VESPA IS DESIGN AND FUNCTION
The real savings with owning a Vespa are the quality of life savings. Sure, you can do the math and see how the savings in your gas alone are enough to pay for the Vespa. But have you taken a moment to consider how much time you will be saving? No more circling the block for an hour to find parking both going to work or coming home. I bet you even hate to go out at night if it means you will have to move your car out of it's parking spot. Life gets so much easier on a Vespa.
How about the drive to work? Ever get stuck in traffic only to see a Vespa moving through the back up as though it wasn't there? Consider this - there is all kinds of space between cars that are lined up at a traffic light. That could be you moving through the congestion like a hot knife through butter! Talk about a time savings.
Trying to find parking downtown? Simply "Park-Share". It's easy to find a spot to fit the scooter. Just make sure there is enough time in the meter. Or be the good scooter ambassador and add some time, after all you are sharing the space.
Do you take public transportation? Oh spare me agony!!! GET OFF THE BUS! And onto your own two-wheels. Life will be a lot more fun. You won't be exposed to all the personal hazards of public transport (don't touch your face after riding the BART). Besides, think of what a great frame of mind you will be in after your ride-in adventure going to work. Now if that doesn't beat the MUNI I don't know what does.
Bottom Line: Sure we can justify buying a Vespa just on gas savings alone. But we know it's more than that, right? You need to LIVE LIFE, ON A VESPA! | |
